Bimax consult #2 done โ€” bring your measurements, seriously

DO

Second orthognathic consult today (functional case โ€” 6mm overjet + apnea, aesthetics are the bonus).

Consult #1 (local, months ago): I came in with vibes. Got a shrug and a referral loop.

Consult #2 (today): I brought my Mavqen side-profile report โ€” gonial angle, convexity, ramus ratio, the works. Completely different conversation. Surgeon pulled up my ceph, compared against the report's numbers, and we talked movements in millimeters for 40 minutes. He said patients who arrive with structured measurements save him half a consult.

PSA: the report is a translation layer between you and the surgeon. Use it.

Insurance pathway looking viable due to the apnea documentation. Will log everything in Progress Logs when/if this goes ahead.

This is the correct use of consumer facial analysis โ€” decision support INTO the medical system, not a replacement for it. Following your log.

The 'translation layer' framing is perfect. Same thing happened at my transplant consult with the density figures.
