Verdict — legit
Does what it claims, with evidence behind it.
Evidence grade C
Mechanistic plausibility, small studies, or observational data. Suggestive, not established.
Mechanism
Hair defines the outer boundary observers use to judge facial proportion. Volume, parting and fringe placement change apparent forehead height, facial width-to-height ratio and the vertical thirds — the same measurements the analysis scores.

Undervalued here because it is not a treatment. Perceptual studies confirm the frame does heavy lifting in how a face is judged, and unlike everything else in this library it takes an afternoon and reverses. Concretely: height on top lengthens a wide or round face; tight sides narrow it; a fringe shortens a tall forehead and changes the upper third outright; a beard line extends a weak jaw's apparent border. Your scan already gives you the proportions to work against — take the thirds and the width-to-height ratio to the barber rather than a photo of someone with a different skull.
