Bone Broth for Skin & Jawline
A pleasant, mineral-light stock. Its collagen is digested into amino acids exactly like the powder — which is to say it never reaches your face as collagen.
Also called: broth collagen · bone stock skin
Verdict — cope
The mechanism does not hold. Your time is better spent elsewhere.
Evidence grade C
Mechanistic plausibility, small studies, or observational data. Suggestive, not established.
Mechanism
Gut proteases hydrolyse dietary collagen into amino acids and small peptides. There is no transport pathway that routes ingested collagen to dermal or skeletal collagen specifically.

This is `collagen-supplements` in liquid form, with a lower and far more variable dose — measured broth collagen content swings by an order of magnitude between batches. The small positive skin-hydration findings in the supplement literature are for standardised hydrolysed peptides at 2.5–10 g, not for stock. Nothing about broth touches bone structure. It is a fine thing to drink and a poor thing to buy at a premium for aesthetic reasons.
