Dry Fasting for 'Snatched' Face
Deliberate dehydration. The tighter face is hypovolaemia, and the method has a documented path to kidney injury and collapse.

Verdict — cope
The mechanism does not hold. Your time is better spent elsewhere.
Evidence grade D
Nobody has demonstrated this works. Note that this grades the evidence, not the danger — read the verdict for that.
Mechanism
Withholding fluid reduces plasma volume and interstitial water, transiently sharpening facial contours while concentrating serum and straining renal function.

Every other entry in this section at least has a benign failure mode. This one does not. Facial 'snatching' from dry fasting is the visible half of a falling circulating volume, and the invisible half is rising creatinine, orthostatic hypotension and — in the extended versions promoted online — rhabdomyolysis and acute kidney injury. There is no aesthetic endpoint that justifies it and no evidence of benefit over ordinary caloric restriction with normal hydration. If a scan is coming up and you want a flatter face for it, sleep and sodium timing do more than this, without an ambulance in the failure case.
