Nose Clips & Nose-Shaping Tools
Nasal cartilage does not remodel under intermittent external pressure at any age past infancy. The 'result' is a pressure mark.

Verdict — cope
The mechanism does not hold. Your time is better spent elsewhere.
Evidence grade D
Nobody has demonstrated this works. Note that this grades the evidence, not the danger — read the verdict for that.
Mechanism
Cartilage remodelling from external moulding works only in neonates, during the weeks when maternal oestrogen keeps hyaluronic acid high and the matrix plastic — the basis of infant ear moulding. That window closes in the first months of life.

Non-surgical infant ear and nasal moulding is a real, documented technique, and it is the origin of the misconception — it works because neonatal cartilage is temporarily deformable, not because cartilage is generally deformable. In an adult, hours of clip pressure produce indentation and erythema that resolve, plus a risk of pressure necrosis on the nasal dorsum if worn overnight. Nasal appearance moves through surgery (`rhinoplasty`), filler camouflage (`nonsurgical-rhinoplasty`, with real vascular risk), or contouring makeup. Nothing else changes it.
