'Ponytail Lift' (Endoscopic Temporal Lift)
A real endoscopic procedure with a marketing name. Suits a young patient with good elasticity and mild upper-face laxity — which is a narrow brief.
Also called: ponytail lift · temporal lift · mini facelift · cat eye lift surgery
Verdict — mixed
Real in part — the claim outruns what it actually does.
Evidence grade C
Mechanistic plausibility, small studies, or observational data. Suggestive, not established.
Mechanism
Small temporal incisions behind the hairline allow endoscopic release and superolateral suspension of the brow, temple and midface — the vector a tight ponytail imitates.

Underneath the name is an established endoscopic brow and midface lift, and in the right candidate it gives a clean, scar-hidden result with a shorter recovery than a full facelift. The marketing does two things worth flagging. It implies a single branded operation where technique varies widely between surgeons, and it aims the procedure at people in their twenties with no laxity to correct — for whom the lift has little to work with and the result reads as pulled. Longevity is shorter than a deep-plane facelift. Assess it as an endoscopic lift, on the usual criteria, not as a trend.
